How to save money at the conference.

Start at the Hotel page. The official conference hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South, is less than two miles from the LAX airport and has a free shuttle to/from the airport.

To save money on airfare, you should consider flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). There are several other airports nearby, including Santa Monica, Burbank, and Bob Hope.

Remember, having a rental car will allow you to drive around “Tinsel Town” and easily go to restaurants, your hotel, or nightlife. (See the Travel page)If you stay at the official conference hotel, you’ll be at the conference location. Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South has a free shuttle to and from the LAX airport.

Uber or Lyft may be less expensive options.

Parking at the conference hotel is $15 per night for hotel guests (normally $45 daily) and only $5 for drive-in attendees on Saturday only.

ASGA strongly recommends business casual attire for the conference.

Bring SG business cards, brochures, constitutions, sweatshirts, and swag to exchange with delegates from across the country.

It’s usually pretty warm (60s and 70s) in Southern California in November late February, but it we recommend you bring an umbrella, as showers can appear unexpectedly. Check the local weather here.

Review the conference schedule and decide which workshops to attend. Know when the conference starts and ends.
